The Directory of Graduate studies, in addition to the specific delegations of competence established by the Dean, is in charge of promoting and carrying out the necessary actions for the implementation of graduate policies defined by the higher councils; issue opinions on the processes of changes in the curricular structure of graduate courses or in the creation of new graduate courses; keep updated information on resumes for graduate courses; organize and, together with PROGEP, monitor the graduate partial departures from the University's employees; prepare the institutional plan for the training of FURG's employees together with PROGEP; keep updated information about servers who are dismissed for graduate qualification; and prepare the annual report on the activities of the Postgraduate Directory.


The Program Management Coordination is part of the organizational structure of the Directory of Graduate studies; as well as the Coordination of Graduate Monitoring and the Division of Monitoring of Employees Dismissed for Qualification.
