The Institute of Oceanography makes public the opening of a simplified selection process for the hiring of a Brazilian or Foreign Visiting Professor in the area of Oceanography, linked to the Post graduate Program in Physical, Chemical and Geological Oceanography (PPGOFQG). Registration will be open between October 23 and November 30, 2017. The candidate must have relevant academic production and experience abroad, not accepting applications from teachers who are teaching or research activities in Brazil. The profile of the Candidate's performance should fit into one of the Research Lines: Proxies and physical and biogeochemical tracers for investigation of the elements cycles in the modern and the past ocean; Marine bio-optics; Turbulence and mixing in the oceans and atmosphere; Marine geophysics.
